Sammy, a whippet, was born in Cyprus and has also lived in Dublin and Scotland.We now live in Saint-Vrain, a commune of the department of Essonne in the South of the Paris region. It is an attractive part of the region. The department gets its name from its main river. Saint Vrain is very close to the river. The neighbouring village to Saint Vrain is Vert le Petit , which is famous for its fishing. Its surroundings include the river, woodland, and open water spaces which are the result of peat extraction from its marshes.
